Midwest ATC has provided air traffic control services for the United States Navy, Air Force, Air National Guard, Coast Guard and Air Force Reserves.
Midwest ATC
  • 1978: Formed in Olathe, Kansas.
  • 1980s: Pioneered development of mobile control tower design/build.
  • 1982: Awarded FAA contract for FAA Contract Tower (FCT) Program.
  • 1994: Awarded FAA FCT Contract for Area 3 (Central and Great Lakes Regions).
  • 1999: 1st company to provide ATC Service in Support of the USAF Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP).
  • 2000: Awarded FCT contract for FAA Great Lakes and Central Region for 2nd time.
  • 2004: Awarded the maximum award for the FCT Program of 2 Areas (Central, Great Lakes, New England and Eastern Regions).
  • 2005: Issued Operating Cert. No. 3 by Transport Canada to provide ATC in Canada.
  • 2006: Expanded its capabilities again, by providing Transient Aircraft Services in support of the U.S. military forces in SW Asia.
  • 2008: Continues to provide ATC and related services throughout SW Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from SPAWAR (US Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command).
